LOCATION 1
The location we've been assigned for shooting Lewisham Arthouse, 140 Lewisham Way, London SE14 6PD.
Due to the change in location we would have to change some of the shots in our storyboard to match our new location.
Due to the change in location we would have to change some of the shots in our storyboard to match our new location.
The location is big which is good, as the acoustics of the building can aid the volume of any dialogue and also it will be warm and there are lights in there that can help us with lighting.
There is also electricity which means if there is need for extra lighting we can easily plug in our lights. The big space also helps heighten the feel of isolation which is a key theme in the horror genre.
The problem with this location is that it is near a main street which means there will be a lot of outside noises and some of it might caught by the boom and affect the shoot. Hopefully it will be quiet around our shooting time.

POSSIBLE SHOTSPROTAGONIST CLOSE UP:
Close up on protagonists, slow panning in a close up across protagonist face SHOT 1: The close up, zooms out to wide shot of protagonist looking around SHOT 2: Wide shot as protagonist talk ESTABLISHING SHOT: Point of view low angle shot of building with camera moving around to resemble the person admiring the location |
LOCATION 2
Another location we would like to use is Nunhead Cemetery at Linden Grove, London SE15 3LP
It would be the perfect location for our trailer as most of the shots take place in a cemetery. It has a enough space and trees to get a good chase scene. It is also a great location to get nice establishing shots and filler shots.
However a downside to this location is that it is not as secluded which means our shoots might be interrupted by passer by mostly dog walkers, which also means that some of our footage might have barking dogs. Also with the space available it might harder for the boom to pick the dialogue. Also there is no electricity available meaning we can't take the lights, meaning we would have to film quickly before we run out of natural light and we would have to make sure the camera is fully charged and that we bring extra battery in case it runs out of energy.

INSPIRATION
Title: Animal
Released: June 13th 2014 This trailer is a good example for us, it has lots of nice establishing shots of the woods and good running scenes, also the drag scenes are really interesting and can help us when making ours |
Title: Haunted Mansion
Released: November 26th 2003 This trailer gets great filler shots of the location, like headstones and the stairs. We will also be trying to get filler shots from our locations as well and since we are going to a cemetery we will try to get some head stones too |

Title 1: Red Riding Hood Title 2: Into The Woods Released: March 11th 2011 Released: January 9th 2015 Both trailers are mostly situated in the woods and have great shots of it. The establishing shots are great and I like how handheld is used to show the woods even as the characters are running. And in Into the Woods I like how there is focus on the Cinderella's feet as she runs.

Title: Exists
Released: March 7th 2014 The trailer is set in the woods with lots of great running however what i find most interesting about this trailer is that the actual footage looks broken and i would like to use that in our trailer. |
Title: Centurion
Released: February 12 2010 The trailer is kind of set in the woods, with a lot of good fight scenes however, the reason I like this video is because of the captions and the transition from each shot, the captions are simple but still effective, I like the way it zooms out instead of just appearing (something I would like to emulate in my own trailer) also the I like how a quick black screen is used to break up a new scene. |
